This year we will be raising awareness of actions individuals can take to help or support someone who is struggling, under the international theme of Working Together to Prevent Suicide. The areas for individual action we will be highlighting are:

  • Starting conversations
  • Taking time to listen
  • Creating supportive workplaces
  • Helping people find support
  • Supporting people bereaved by suicide

Below we have provided

  • A timeline for the day including:
    • suggested copy for each individual action, but please do amend or use your own, ensuring you include #WSPD and tag @NSPA_UK
    • digital assets for use on Twitter and Facebook/Instagram
  • An asset and copy for a tweet to encourage people to take care of themselves if they find it a difficult day
  • A 'Proud Member of the NSPA' image and example copy
  • 2 possible Twitter banners, should you want to change your Twitter banner for the day.

You can download a zip file of all images here, but please read below for the order of the day and suggested copy. If you need assistance or have any queries please email us at info@nspa.org.uk
