The SENAD Group

The SENAD Group was formed in 2003 to provide a seamless transitional journey for those who need support and specialist provision as children and into adulthood. Alongside adult care homes and a community support service we operate six residential special schools.

How does your organisation contribute to preventing suicide and supporting those affected by it?

We provide an Employee Assistance Programme for all staff that includes access to support and counselling 24/7, including a new online support tool for staff and line managers.

Line managers and HR teams have received training around suicide prevention.

We work closely with multi-disciplinary teams and clinical leads in relation to young people in our services at risk of self-harm and suicide.
