BDLD CIC

BDLD (Big Dog Little Dog) is a small social enterprise focussed on de-stigmatising mental health, particularly in the workplace. We achieve this through the delivery of accredited and bespoke training courses (including MHFA) and organisation consultancy services. We are particularly focussed on suicide prevention and launched England’s first Ofqual-regulated short course in suicide prevention in September 2020. This features a Level 2 suicide awareness two-day course (including an e-version) and a one-day Level 3 suicide prevention course using the unique STEPS model.

How does your organisation contribute to preventing suicide and supporting those affected by it?

By developing and delivering innovative suicide intervention training modules.

We have also successfully gained government funding for the Level 2 suicide awareness course.
